ENGONYAMENI, situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Africa, the Eastern Transvaal (Mpumalanga) Lowveld lures the hunter to unique hunting adventures. It is here where the searcher of unusual experiences finds his destination...where hunting dreams become reality.

Nature has painted a scene of contrasts-apart from the vast areas of small hills and acacia trees, mountains, waterfalls and natural forests are combined to create a magnificent place, where the hunter feels the rhythm of Africa around him.

As the habitat boasts such a variety-many different animal species are to be found here and quality trophies are in abundance. Through care and conservation, ENGONYAMENI is securing their existence for the future.

The private hunting area consists of 25,000 acres and borders the Kruger National Park. Hunting species which are not indigenous to this area, is done throughout the country, which gives the hunter a chance to see South Africa.

Conducting a trophy hunt with ENGONYAMENI Safaris is a lifetime experience for any serious trophy hunter.

Accommodations

ENGONYAMENI Lodge is the place with a difference. Sited on the private area, it is designed and built in accordance with the natural environment-it is a fantasy in the bush-one of the most impressive bush camps in Africa.

ENGONYAMENI is our life, our pleasure...come share it with us.

The trophy hunter who enjoys professionalism and who wishes to have a "one of a kind" hunting experience-need look no further that ENGONYAMENI!!

Arms and Ammunition

Normally the hunter chooses his/her own rifle. We recommend rifles such as: .308, .30-60, or .300. For any of the big five a .375 is the smallest calibre allowed.

The camp has a good shooting range and zeroing of rifles is done upon arrival.

Clothing and Personal Kit

Cooler months are from May to August. Personal medication must be brought with. Good walking shoes will ensure a comfortable hunt. It is recommended that precautions be taken against malaria before arriving.
